Who Operates Atlas

Undead Atlas is an independent, fan-run Zombies tracker and community service for adults aged 18 or older. Contact the site operator at undeadatlas.support@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests.

Data We Use And Why

Discord sign-in supplies your Discord user ID , display name, and whether two-factor authentication is enabled so we can create an account and maintain a secure session and protect site-admin access. Atlas does not ask for your Discord password, email, friends list, or private Discord conversations.

We store records, profile preferences, uploaded avatars, group memberships, messages, sessions, RSVPs, notification preferences, and reports you submit to provide those features. We store the date and policy version of your 18+ declaration, not the age or birthday entered.

We process limited security information, including session-token hashes, rate-limit keys derived from account or network identifiers, and hosting logs, to prevent abuse and investigate failures. Do not include secrets or sensitive personal information in profiles or chats.

Optional Support Payments

If you choose a paid support option, Stripe processes checkout and billing. Atlas stores your Stripe customer reference, payment/subscription references, paid benefit periods, and payment status linked to your Atlas account. Atlas does not receive or store your full card number or security code. Stripe may collect the contact, billing, and payment information needed to process your payment and prevent fraud.

Payment records may need to be retained to resolve disputes and meet accounting or legal obligations. Request account deletion through Settings and contact support about an active subscription before closing your account.

Who Can See It

Records and player discovery start private. Your sharing choices determine which records and profile fields other users can see. Group members can see group activity. An accepted DM recipient can see the conversation; messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Authorized operators can access stored data for support, safety, and legal obligations.

Avatar URLs are public file URLs. Anyone with the URL may load the image even if your profile is hidden. Remove an avatar from Settings if you no longer want Atlas to use it; cached copies may persist.

Discord And Other Providers

A connected group sends Atlas chat to its Discord channel. If the group enables two-way mirroring, text from that channel can also enter Atlas. Discord administrators may access the channel. Blocking on Atlas does not hide Discord messages, and leaving Atlas does not erase Discord history.

Vercel provides hosting, image storage, and reminder execution; Neon provides the database; Discord provides sign-in and optional group integration. Guide thumbnails and videos may connect to YouTube when displayed or opened. These providers process information under their own terms and may process it in other countries. Clicking an external link shares your request with that site.

No advertising provider is active. Optional Vercel analytics and performance measurement are disabled unless the operator enables them. The Cookies & Analytics page describes these controls.

Retention And Deletion

Profile and record data normally remain while your account is active. Stored chat has bounded history: currently up to 500 messages per DM thread and 1,000 per group. These are storage limits, not guaranteed retention periods. Sessions expire after seven days; expired session and rate-limit rows are cleaned up during sign-in.

Use Settings → Safety & notifications to download your export or submit a deletion request. Requests are reviewed by the operator; submission is not immediate deletion. Group ownership, shared records, abuse evidence, and legal obligations may require separate handling. We will explain any retained data and the reason.

Discord copies, recipients’ copies, screenshots, and third-party caches are outside Atlas’s direct deletion controls. Backup retention depends on the configured provider; the operator will review relevant backups when handling a deletion request. Reports are access-restricted and reviewed for continuing safety or legal need rather than promised an automatic deletion deadline.

Your Choices And Rights

You can change your profile, remove your avatar, restrict sharing, block users, and manage notifications in Settings. Email support for corrections, a broader data-access request, deletion, or a privacy complaint. We may verify account ownership without asking for your password. Depending on where you live, additional rights may include objection, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, and a complaint to a privacy regulator.

Where required, account operation is based on providing the service you request; optional public sharing is your choice; abuse prevention relies on legitimate safety interests; legally required retention is handled under applicable obligations. No automated decision is used to sell your data or profile you for advertising.

If you believe a person under 18 has created an account, report it to support. An entered age is a self-declaration, not proof of age.

Changes

We will update this notice when practices change. Material changes to account terms require a new recorded acceptance. Contact support if you need the previous version.

Friends And Open Groups

Atlas stores friend requests and accepted friendships separately from message permissions. Your friends list is available only to you; being friends does not reveal private records or platform IDs. Blocking ends friendship and direct-message access. Removed friendship records retain a short request cooldown to discourage repeated contact.

Open groups are listed for eligible signed-in adults. After you choose to join, members can see your gamer name and group activity, and you can read existing group chat and shared records. Removal prevents automatic rejoining. Discord access stays individually restricted and Discord server administrators can access connected channels.

Guide suggestions can include external HTTPS websites. Listings are reviewed before publication, but destinations can change. Atlas does not automatically embed or fetch submitted website content. External websites have their own privacy practices.
